How do I book?
If you would like to make an appointment or have a chat with one of our nutritional therapists to find out more about how we could help you, please call us on 0845 0502442 or email. Once you have booked an appointment, we will send you a questionnaire which you will need to complete and bring with you to your first consultation.
What do I do if I need to cancel?
Plans do change sometimes so we understand if you may need to reschedule your appointment. However, appointments are subject to a 50% cancellation charge with less than 48 hours notice and 100% cancellation charge if notification is on the day of the appointment.
What happens during the consultation?
At your first consultation, we establish your health goals and take your full case history. We then explain what we believe are the underlying causes to your symptoms. Together we work on a practical and achievable health plan tailored to your individual needs. We may recommend biochemical testing if we feel you have a health problem which needs further investigation. A follow-up is generally recommended about four weeks later.
How many appointments do I require?
You will require an assessment appointment and then typically three or four follow-up appointments, although some people come for longer or shorter amounts of time. The number of follow-ups required is very much dependent on each client’s individual health symptoms and goals.
How long will it take to solve my problems?
This depends on what you are trying to solve. Recovering your health naturally also depends on you taking the action to make this happen and on your level of commitment to the programme set by your nutritional therapist.
Why do you use laboratory testing?
We sometimes recommend laboratory testing if we feel that you have a health issue which needs further investigation. Laboratory testing helps to identify the root causes of health symptoms so we know what we are dealing with upfront. For example, bloating can be caused by an imbalance in gut bacteria or the presence of yeast. These problems would be revealed via a digestive analysis. Other tests include food intolerance tests and hormone profiles. Although testing is an additional cost, it usually results in a faster and more successful outcome.
Why do you use supplements?
Supplements are not a substitute for a healthy diet. However, even with a good diet, it can be difficult to obtain all the nutrients you need as the quality and nutrient content of our food is not what it was due to intensive farming, consuming food flown in from the other side of the world, and eating foods out of season. We only ever use what we believe are the best quality supplements available which are well absorbed and free from sugar and additives, and we only recommend what we believe is absolutely necessary.
